Requirements
Immigration Exams
Dr. Juarez is a USCIS Designated Civil Surgeon authorized to perform immigration medical examinations for persons applying for adjustment of status. Our practice can also be found on the USCIS list of approved Civil Surgeon Doctors.
Our turnaround time is 2-3 business days. We provide the required 1-693 form and guarantee the most up-to-date versions are used.

Testing
Testing is age specific. All tests required by USCIS are performed as required by age of the applicant.
Requirements
The vaccination requirements for the Immigration Medical exams are set forth by the Centers for Disease Control in Atlanta, and are age specific.
We offer a free consultation as a courtesy to our immigrants, in order to discuss the vaccine requirements with the doctor. We also offer blood titers for adults who wish to check their immunity to the vaccines they received in their childhood years. It is not in the best interest of the patient to re-vaccinate without knowing their immune status.
Children will usually not need any additional vaccines if the Florida Certificate of Immunization is up to date. We recommend that children under the age of 19, who are recent arrivals to the U.S., and who do not possess a vaccination record, visit our office before going to the Florida Department of Health. It is common that children are re-vaccinated unnecessarily by the health department. Blood titres are a safe and effective method of determining the immune status of the child, and are readily available through our office. It is important to avoid unnecessary vaccines in children!! The future of their health depends on it!

We offer competitive pricing which parallels with the recommended pricing set forth by the USCIS. Children age 15 and up are required to have additional blood testing, therefore our prices are reflective of the age specific requirements for children ( children under the age of 15 pay a much lower fee!). For families of 4 or more we are able to offer discounts and special services which can make the process seamlessly easy!
Appointments
Our office provides immigration exams M-F by appointment only. We offer Saturdays as well, and we schedule on a case by case basis ( for those who can't come in during the week , or if traveling from out of town.)

From time to time, the USCIS makes changes to the rules for the medical exam process. We strive to stay on top of the changes. It is imperative that your Civil Surgeon knows the updated rules or you may risk the denial of your I-693 documents and medical examination. This may cause a delay in the acceptance of your adjustment of status process. Please be sure to make every effort to ask about new rules and laws, and feel free to call us and we will gladly provide the latest updates to you over the phone!

Our prices have always been fair, and priced professionally based on our excellent reputation of 18 years! We discount exams for children and allow the school vaccination record as proof of vaccines. We also perform titer testing for children and adults.
